Juan P. Delgado advises clients in the sports, entertainment, and media industries on a wide range of business and legal matters. With extensive experience in structuring, negotiating, and closing complex transactions, he has played a pivotal role in securing major sports rights deals, talent agreements, content acquisitions, and production agreements across scripted and unscripted programming.
As a seasoned executive, Juan has led business and legal affairs teams, overseeing high-profile negotiations with studios, producers, networks, and digital platforms. He has also been deeply involved in content licensing, advertising partnerships, and media distribution strategies. His experience extends to advising on corporate transactions, talent management, and government affairs within the entertainment sector.
Prior to joining Day Pitney, Juan was Vice President and Head of Business and Legal Affairs for Latin America at Paramount Global, Juan founded and led Delgado Media Works, a boutique law firm specializing in entertainment and media transactions. His early career includes key roles at Telemundo Media and international law firms, where he gained significant experience in corporate law, international business transactions, and regulatory compliance.
Juan is an active member of the Florida Bar, serving on the Executive Board of the Sports and Entertainment Law Section. He frequently speaks at industry conferences and has received multiple leadership and service awards in recognition of his contributions to the field.
