Newman is quoted on news that Judge Robert Chatigny of The U.S. District Court for Connecticut has decided to take senior status as of Jan. 1. Newman said she had the "privilege" of being one of Chatigny's earliest law clerks. "From the beginning he set a high standard for thoughtful analysis and a scholarly approach to the law, both for himself and those around him," Newman added.
