Overview

John Kaschak represents corporate clients in the technology, healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing and energy industries. He advises clients on transactional, corporate and regulatory matters, including technology and intellectual property licensing, mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, venture capital financings, commercial agreements, corporate governance, and state and federal regulatory compliance matters in the areas of technology and data privacy.

John also provides support to in-house counsels on day-to-day legal matters and regularly assists clients with drafting and negotiating agreements. He has extensive experience with technology services agreements, licensing agreements, product sales and distribution agreements; SaaS, PaaS and IaaS agreements; and other commercial agreements. John helps clients structure these deals to mitigate risks while achieving their business objectives.

During and prior to law school, John worked in the finance departments of a Global 500 company and a Fortune 500 company, where he performed financial analysis and worked with business partners to help drive earnings and profitability.
