The 2023 Summer Associates Satisfaction Ranking

Day Pitney was ranked in the top 20, at 17 nationally, for summer associate satisfaction in The American Lawyer's 2023 Summer Associate Survey.

The annual survey polled 3,471 summer associates from 70 law firms on their experiences at their firms. Firms are scored based on summer associate ratings in nine categories, including partner access and mentorship, interactions with other associates, interesting legal work, benefits and compensation, training, and overall as a place to work. Day Pitney received a score of 4.863 out of 5.0 and we had a 100% participation rate.

Day Pitney strives to offer a meaningful and rewarding summer associate experience, and to provide a realistic view on what it is like to practice law at the firm. Day Pitney's summer program allows summer associates to work on interesting and challenging work assignments, interact with our attorneys and staff at all levels, and to participate in shadowing and training opportunities as well as social events.

We are pleased that our summer associates had a positive experience and ranked our summer program so highly. We thank them for their contributions to the firm and we look forward to having them all return as associates.
