Day Pitney Expands Investment Management and Private Equity Practices

Peter Bilfield and Steven Gold were mentioned in an article, "Day Pitney Expands Investment Management and Private Equity Practices," published in The Hedge Fund Law Report.The article announces that Day Pitney has broadened its private equity and investment management practices with the hiring of partners Bilfield and Gold, who previously practiced law at Shipman & Goodwin. Bilfield will act as co-chair of the firm's investment management and private funds group. Both attorneys advise funds, investors, banks and corporations on numerous transactional and regulatory issues, often with cross-border elements. "My partner Steve Gold and I decided to join the firm because of Day Pitney's expansion [within private equity finance and investment management] and the synergy with its international family office practice," Bilfield told The Hedge Fund Law Report.
