Overview

Martin J. Chavarria represents real estate developers and institutional clients in real estate matters, with an emphasis on construction contracting and commercial real estate transactions. His work includes drafting and reviewing construction agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and commercial leases; supporting real estate financing transactions; and assisting clients with development projects.

Prior to joining Day Pitney as an associate, Martin served as a judicial intern for the Honorable James J. Tancredi in the United State Bankruptcy Court for the District of Connecticut. Martin also participated in the University of Connecticut Transactional Law Clinic, where he drafted governance documents and commercial agreements for nonprofit and small business clients.

Martin was a Summer Associate with Day Pitney in 2024 and 2025.
