Connecticut Enacts Employee Online Privacy Law

Eric Sussman, Dan Schwartz and James Leva wrote the article, "Connecticut Enacts Employee Online Privacy Law," in the Employee Relations Law Journal. The article examines Public Act No. 15-6, which Gov. Dannel P. Malloy signed into law in May. The act prohibits employers from seeking access to employees' personal online accounts. In the article, the authors outline best practices for permissible investigations.
