"The Transition to the New Release-Based Reporting & Remediation Program: What Happens with the Transfer Act, Brownfields Programs & Then Some?" CBIA's 2021 Energy & Environment Conference

Beth Barton, a partner in the firm’s Environmental and Land Use practice, spoke at the Connecticut Business and Industry Association’s 2021 Energy & Environment Conference on June 11. She moderated a panel titled, “The Transition to the New Release-Based Reporting & Remediation Program: What Happens with the Transfer Act, Brownfields Programs & Then Some?” which focused on the on-going transition to a new release-based remediation program in Connecticut. The panel addressed how this new program would interface with Connecticut DEEP’s existing regulatory programs dealing with the reporting and remediation of releases at Connecticut properties.
