On May 11, the Central Connecticut Women Working Together (WWT) held its bi-annual leadership lunch at the Bond Ballroom in Hartford. Approximately 90 Day Pitney clients and prospects and 30 Day Pitney attorneys attended the insightful two-hour event. Day Pitney's Managing Partner, Stan Twardy, welcomed the guests, including numerous in-house counsel, as well as other executives representing a variety of firm clients. The program, entitled: "Reflections On Breaking Barriers," featured a panel of three ground-breaking judges in the state:

The Honorable Vanessa Bryant, United States District Court;

The Honorable Nina Elgo, Connecticut Superior Court; and

The Honorable Sheila Prats, Connecticut Superior Court.

This panel provided their perspectives on leadership and creating change. The event was organized by Flossie Davis and Susan Huntington with input from other WWT leaders, Susan Ylitalo and Tiana Gianopulos.
