Day Pitney Welcomes Sarah A. Billeri as Counsel in Consumer Finance & Creditors' Rights Practice

Day Pitney LLP is pleased to announce that Sarah A. Billeri has joined the firm as Counsel in its Consumer Finance & Creditors' Rights Practice. Billeri brings more than 20 years of experience representing institutional lenders and mortgage servicers in creditor rights disputes and consumer finance litigation. She is based in the firm’s Boston office and is the second attorney to join the firm in recent weeks, following the addition of Partner Jared Shwartz on August 31.

Livorsi, Partner and a leader of the firm’s Consumer Finance & Creditors' Rights Practice. “Sarah brings the judgment to assess nuanced issues, the litigation experience to handle complex disputes, and the practical approach our clients value.”

Billeri represents local and national lenders in disputes arising from mortgage defaults and loan servicing, with a particular focus on contested foreclosure litigation. Her practice includes evictions, title disputes, and consumer finance claims. 

Throughout her career, Billeri has represented both local and national lenders in state and federal courts in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, with significant experience successfully handling complex discovery disputes, depositions, mediations, dispositive motions, trials, and settlement negotiations. Her practice also includes title-clearing litigation, post-foreclosure eviction matters, consumer demand letters under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 93A, and loss mitigation negotiations and resolution. 

A member of both the Massachusetts Bar Association and the New Hampshire Bar Association, Billeri has built her practice across both jurisdictions. She earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School and graduated magna cum laude from Stonehill College with a B.A. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
