Peter Chadwick advises individuals regarding all aspects of their personal planning, with an emphasis on charitable giving and the creation and operation of nonprofit organizations, including family foundations. In his practice, his guiding concern is to give clients clear and straightforward advice on complex areas of the law.
As Peter puts it, "I'm lucky to have had as models a number of 'old-fashioned' lawyers who served as problem solvers for people, their businesses, their children and their families. They showed me that a good lawyer makes things as simple as possible for his or her clients. Much of what we do is hard work, but the better we do it, the clearer and easier the result for our clients."
Peter serves as co-chair of Day Pitney's Tax-Exempt Organizations and Charitable Giving group.
