Day Pitney Announces New Leadership Appointments
Trial Lawyer Elizabeth Alquist Elected to Day Pitney's Executive Committee; Other Senior Leadership Changes Announced
Day Pitney LLP is pleased to congratulate several partners who have recently been elected to firm leadership positions. Elizabeth "Beth" Alquist, a partner in the Intellectual Property and Technology Litigation practice, has been elected to serve on the firm's Executive Committee. Alquist steps into this position after serving as chair of the firm's Litigation department for the last two years. She joins existing committee members Gregory A. Hayes (Managing Partner) and Michael P. Byrne. Alquist succeeds David P. Doyle, who served on the Executive Committee for four years.
The firm is also pleased to announce that Energy Partner Joseph H. Fagan has been elected to serve an inaugural term on the firm's Executive Board, and Litigation Partner Mark Salah Morgan has been re-elected to serve a second term on the Executive Board. Fagan and Morgan join existing Executive Board members Tasha K. Dickinson, Amy R. Lonergan, and Namita Tripathi Shah.
"I'd like to thank David for his leadership, hard work, and countless hours dedicated to our firm's growth," commented Hayes. "Our firm is blessed to have talented partners with proven leadership skills, who are enthusiastic about guiding our firm forward. I am excited about working with each of our leaders and welcome the fresh perspectives they will bring to their new appointments."

In addition, the firm is pleased to announce recent leadership appointments in the Litigation and Private Client Departments that were effective earlier this year. Manuel A. Garcia-Linares has been appointed chair of the Litigation department after serving as vice-chair of the department. Garcia-Linares is joined by Morgan, who will succeed him in the role of vice-chair. Partner Darren M. Wallace has been named vice-chair of the firm's Private Client Department, and Lonergan will assume the role of Private Client Department business unit leader.
