The article outlines what employers need to know about Connecticut's recently enacted  "ban-the-box" law, titled "An Act Concerning Fair Chance Employment." The law applies to all employers in both the public and private sectors and is effective Jan. 1, 2017. The article also compares Connecticut's law to similar laws in New York and New Jersey.
