Anatomy of a Trademark Case
On September 16, Elizabeth Alquist and Catherine Dugan O'Connor will serve on a panel, moderated by Christopher Droney, for the session, "Anatomy of a Trademark Case," at the Connecticut Bar Association's Connecticut Legal Conference. The program will be a soup-to-nuts primer on trademark litigation, both at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and at federal court, from the beginning of the litigation to the entry of judgment. Participants will learn how to apply and register for trademark and/or trade dress, and hear about effectively pleading and defending a trademark action, and best practices for conduct of discovery in a trademark case, including preservation of data and prioritization of types of evidence.
The session is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m., and is available for 2.0 CT (1.5 General; 0.5 Ethics) and 2.0 NY (1.5 AOP; .05 Ethics) CLE credits. Learn more and register here.
