Employer Update: COVID-19 Employee Benefits and Labor & Employment Law During the Pandemic

Day Pitney, in conjunction with USI Insurance Services, held a webinar on labor and employment law issues arising from the COVID-19 pandemic. The speakers, Daniel Schwartz, Eric Sussman and Rachel Gonzalez, discussed several of the important questions employers currently are confronting, including workplace safety, paid sick leave and paid FMLA leave under the Family First Coronavirus Response Act, employee furloughs and salary reductions, health insurance benefits, and union-related concerns.
