On May 8, Barbara Freedman Wand spoke on "Cross Cutting Perspectives on Philanthropy," a program presented by the Boston Estate Planning Council and held in Boston, Massachusetts. Wand discussed, from an advisor's perspective, philanthropy as a key component of estate planning with an emphasis on the client's aspirations and goals for themselves and their families. Topics included integrating philanthropic values and goals into an overall wealth plan and developing philanthropic strategies that can be used to engage the next generation.
