On March 14, 2013, Day Pitney was a sponsor of the Pathways to Leadership for Women Lawyers Ladder Award ceremony presented by the Women in the Law Committee and Young Lawyers Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. The evening's keynote speaker was Willajeanne F. McLean, Interim Dean and Professor of Law at the University of Connecticut School of Law. The Ladder Award recipient was Maureen Danehy Cox, partner at the law firm Carmody & Torrence LLP. The event was well-attended by members of the bar, law students, family and friends, including Day Pitney's Dan FitzMaurice, Kaitlin Canty, Jill Danielson, Elizabeth Retersdorf, Jim Sicilian, Stacy Smith Walsh, and Richard Wasserman.
