On September 24, 2012, Day Pitney hosted a seminar entitled "Estate Planning for LGBT Families" in its New York office. The seminar was presented by Tiana Gianopulos and Alexis Gettier of Day Pitney's Individual Clients department, and was followed by a reception. Over 100 individuals attended the event, which was organized by Mike Weiss, a litigation associate in the firm's New York office. Mike coordinated the program with LeGal and FSIX, New York's LGBT bar association and financial industry association, respectively.
