Overview
Christine Tsai focuses her practice on a broad range of federal tax planning, estate and wealth transfer planning, tax controversy, and sophisticated wealth preservation strategies. She counsels high-net-worth individuals, families, fiduciaries, family offices, and closely held businesses on complex tax issues, helping clients navigate income tax and business planning opportunities.
Prior to joining Day Pitney, Christine concentrated her practice on federal tax planning for high-net-worth individuals, including matters involving tax-exempt organizations and corporate aircraft. She advised clients and family offices on a wide array of private wealth and tax matters, developing tailored planning strategies and conducting extensive research on complex federal tax issues. Earlier in her career, she represented businesses and individuals in tax controversy matters and served as an in-house senior tax attorney advising on domestic and international tax matters, corporate transactions, and high-value tax disputes. She also served in a state financial regulatory enforcement role, providing her with valuable insight into regulatory and enforcement matters that inform her practical, strategic approach to client counseling.
