Estate Planning Update Summer 2023 - Private Client Department Awards and Recognitions
Over the last few months, attorneys in our Private Client Department have been recognized* by the media and outside organizations with several prestigious honors. Boston Trusts and Estates Attorney Kaitlyn C. Sapp was named to the "Up & Coming Lawyers" list by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, as part of their Excellence in the Law program. The list is a salute to rising stars of the Massachusetts Bar, honoring attorneys who have been practicing and admitted in the Massachusetts Bar for 10 years or less, yet have already distinguished themselves in the practice of law. Day Pitney Private Client Partner Renée Evangelista and Senior Associate Leigh Furtado were each honored with a Professional Excellence in Law Award in the Wills, Trusts and Estates category by Rhode Island Monthly for 2023. Most recently, Day Pitney Trusts and Estates Counsel Heidi Seely was nominated to the Boston Foundation's Professional Advisors Network (PAN) for 2024.
In addition, for the second time in recent months, Day Pitney's Family Office practice was recognized for its commitment and experience serving the cybersecurity needs of the firm's Family Office clients. In this most recent accolade, Family Wealth Report presented the firm with the Cyber Security Specialist Wealth Management Award at the Tenth Annual Family Wealth Report Awards.
