What They're Saying About Fla. Real Estate At 2026's Midpoint
Danny Diaz Leyva, Chair of Day Pitney’s Florida Real Estate Practice, was featured in Law360 Real Estate Authority’s midyear roundup on the state of Florida’s real estate market.
In the article, Danny shared his take on the commercial real estate market’s slower start to 2026, explaining that the market has adjusted to today’s interest-rate environment. Investors are restructuring capital, rethinking underwriting, and continuing to get deals done under current conditions.
He also highlighted ongoing recapitalizations and equity infusions, particularly in the multifamily sector, as sponsors bring in new capital partners and extend investment horizons.
Danny further noted that Miami and West Palm Beach continue to distinguish themselves as leading markets, supported by sustained capital inflows, talent migration, and affluent buyers from the Northeast, Latin America, and other international markets.
