"Special Needs Trusts," Charles River Center

On November 3, Day Pitney Partner Meredith H. Greene presented “Special Needs Trusts” as part of Charles River Center’s Family Training series.

The program explored how families can plan for a loved one’s long-term financial security while preserving access to government benefits.

Topics included first-party and third-party special needs trusts, ABLE accounts, trustee selection, letters of intent, and coordinated estate planning documents. Meredith, who is also co-leader of the firm’s Special Needs Planning practice, will also address planning considerations involving housing, child support, and family decision-making.
