Overview

Jamie Glashow counsels clients in estate planning, estate settlement and trust administration. She provides clients with tax efficient strategies to transfer wealth through estate planning documents that best fit clients' needs. Jamie assists fiduciaries in the execution of their fiduciary duties and responsibilities in the estate and trust administration processes. She prepares complex federal and state estate tax returns and federal gift tax returns. Jamie has represented clients in probate court on estate settlement matters, as well as in the Rhode Island Superior Court on trust modification and termination matters, and special needs trust establishment and modification matters.

During her time in law school, Jamie was actively involved in disability-related legal work in her role as the Vice President of the Disability Law Society. She gained valuable experience as a student attorney in the Disability Rights Clinic at Syracuse University College of Law and volunteered at the Syracuse University Parent Advocacy Center. She also was involved with an interdisciplinary project on guardianship laws and policies.

Jamie served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Alexandra D. DiPentima, Chief Judge of the Connecticut Appellate Court.
