Overview
Christopher "Chris" Genev represents individuals and families in the areas of estate and tax planning. He prepares complex estate planning documents, as well as state and federal estate/gift tax returns. Chris makes regular court appearances in Rhode Island and has direct and frequent interactions with clients, beneficiaries, and fiduciaries regarding the estate planning and estate settlement process.
Before joining Day Pitney, Chris practiced trusts and estates at a boutique firm in Providence. Chris received his B.S. from the University of South Carolina and his J.D. from the Roger Williams University School of Law. Chris is currently admitted to practice law in the State of Rhode Island.
