Overview

Alexis Beyerlein represents insurers, reinsurers and agents in insurance and reinsurance disputes. She also represents clients in other complex litigation matters. She has experience advising insurance companies in coverage and reinsurance disputes, including claims involving environmental liability, asbestos, opioids, cracking foundations, and workers’ compensation. Alexis has advocated on behalf of clients in state and federal jurisdictions as well as in arbitration proceedings.

Previously, Alexis clerked for the Honorable Bethany J. Alvord of the Connecticut Appellate Court and the Honorable Kari A. Dooley of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. During her clerkships, Alexis worked on a variety of criminal, civil, and administrative matters. She also had the opportunity to observe and to participate in numerous court proceedings, including substantive motions hearings and trials.

Alexis coaches the nationally recognized moot court team at her alma mater, the College of the Holy Cross, in Worcester, Massachusetts.
