Travel Tuesdays: Doing Business in New Jersey

Episode 573, Employment Matters, April 9, 2024

Heather Weine Brochin was a guest on the Travel Tuesdays series, which explores the 'need to know' items for doing business in various jurisdictions around the world, on the Employment Law Alliance's podcast Employment Matters. In her episode, "Doing Business in New Jersey," Brochin discusses the developments for employers in New Jersey with host Steve Hirschfeld of ELA California member firm Hirschfeld Kraemer LLP.

From 2023 into 2024, Brochin noted the hot topics for New Jersey employers include the amendment and the extensive expansion of the New Jersey WARN Act and the newly enacted Temporary Workers Bill of Rights, which have dramatically expanded workplace protections in the state.
