New York, NY – Day Pitney LLP announced that Kevin J. Duffy and Naju R. Lathia have been named as honorees for the 2021 New Jersey Legal Awards, sponsored by the New Jersey Law Journal. They are both recipients of the New Leaders of the Bar awards and will be honored at this year's New Jersey Legal Awards Gala on September 23.

Duffy, a partner at Day Pitney, is a commercial litigator, who assists individuals and corporations in a range of matters affecting their personal and financial interests. He has advised and represented clients in cases involving contracts, securities, public bidding, unfair competition, negligence, fraud and consumer protection claims in state and federal courts in New Jersey and New York, and has argued successfully before the Supreme Court of New Jersey. Outside the courtroom, Duffy has successfully represented clients' interests in arbitration and mediation.
Lathia, a senior associate at the firm, assists clients in a broad spectrum of areas, from litigating complex commercial matters in state and federal court to conducting sensitive internal and white-collar investigations. She also defends employers in a broad range of matters in state and federal court, and before the EEOC, including allegations of discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and breach of contract. Lathia also provides criminal defense advice and representation to management when employees of clients are either accused of crimes or have crimes committed against them. She also has experience litigating product liability and tort matters.
