Day Pitney Has Committed to 4.0 Version of the Mansfield Rule
Day Pitney has committed to the 4.0 iteration of the Mansfield Rule, an initiative of the Diversity Lab. The purpose of the rule is to create additional opportunities for more diverse and inclusive law firms and legal teams. Day Pitney has demonstrated that the economic uncertainty has not stopped the firm and its leaders from pledging to increase diversity in their ranks. The firm has committed to considering more women lawyers, lawyers of color, LGBTQ+ lawyers and lawyers with disabilities for promotion to equity partner, participation in formal client pitch opportunities and consideration for more leadership roles.
The Diversity Lab quoted Thomas Goldberg, Managing Partner,"Day Pitney's participation in the Mansfield Rule from the inaugural 1.0 version to the current iteration has been instrumental in generating increased discussion, sustained action and meaningful results for Day Pitney's diversity and inclusion goals and objectives."
