September 3, 2019 – Day Pitney LLP announced today that nine new associates have joined the firm. "We proudly welcome these exceptional individuals, who will greatly contribute to the top-quality legal services we provide," said Tom Goldberg, Day Pitney's Managing Partner. "Our new associates are a diverse mix of accomplished attorneys with valuable hands-on experience and insights gained through judicial clerkships and summer associate positions, which will immediately benefit our clients."
The new associates are:
Andrew M. Ammirati, Litigation. Ammirati was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2017 and most recently served as a law clerk to Chief Justice Richard A. Robinson of the Connecticut Supreme Court. He received his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law and his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Connecticut. He is resident in the firm's Hartford office.
R. Levi Barry, Litigation. Barry received his J.D. from Harvard Law School; his B.Sc., summa cum laude, from Eastern Michigan University; and his B.A. from the University of Michigan. He is resident in the firm’s Boston office.
Matthew W. Austin, Litigation. Austin was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2018. He received his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law; his M.S. from The Johns Hopkins University; and his B.S. from the United States Naval Academy. He is resident in the firm's Hartford office.
Deanna Christian, Corporate and Business Law. Christian most recently served as a special education law clerk at the New Jersey Office of Administrative Law. She received her J.D., summa cum laude, from Rutgers Law School, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif, and her B.S., cum laude, from Rutgers University. She is resident in the firm's New Jersey office.
Erin Hodgson, Litigation. Hodgson was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2017 and most recently served as a law clerk to Associate Justice Walter F. Timpone of the New Jersey Supreme Court. She received her J.D. from Rutgers Law School and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Quinnipiac University. She is resident in the firm's New Jersey office.
Amanda Kronemeyer, Corporate and Business Law. Kronemeyer was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2018. She received her J.D. from Rutgers Law School and her B.A. from Hofstra University. She is resident in the firm's New Jersey office.

Palak Sharma, Litigation. Sharma was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2018. She received her J.D. from George Washington University Law School and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Rutgers University. She is resident in the firm's New Jersey office.
Kara A. Zarchin, Litigation. Zarchin was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2017 and most recently served as a law clerk to Associate Justice Richard N. Palmer of the Connecticut Supreme Court. She received her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law; her M.A. from the Middlebury Bread Loaf School of English; and her B.A., cum laude, from Middlebury College.
