Day Pitney Sponsors 45th Annual CABA Gala
Day Pitney's Miami and West Palm Beach offices were proud to sponsor the 45th Annual Cuban American Bar Association (CABA) Gala, which was held on January 26 at the Ice Palace Studios in Miami, FL. The evening celebrated CABA's commitment to the community, raising funds for scholarships and pro bono legal services, and the installation of CABA's 45th President, Maria D. Garcia as well as the 2019 Board of Directors.
CABA is a nonprofit voluntary bar association founded in 1974 by lawyers of Cuban descent. Its members include judges, lawyers and law students of all backgrounds interested in issues affecting the Cuban community, as well as broader legal and human rights issues impacting minority communities as a whole.
Day Pitney Miami partner Manuel Garcia-Linares is a past president of CABA and a board member of CABA Foundation, and Dolly Hernandez, Katherine Coba and George Metcalfe, Jr., are also members.
