As treasurer, Wooden will oversee $63 billion in state funds and investments, including $34 billion in state pension funds, and will sit on numerous boards including the State Bond Commission, the Connecticut Health & Educational Facilities Authority, the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority and the Connecticut Green Bank. He will retire as a partner in the firm and assume his new role as state treasurer when he is sworn in on January 9, 2019.
