Day Pitney Further Expands Presence in Florida Through Merger with Richman Greer
Increases Headcount to more than 20 Lawyers in Florida
Offers Clients Litigation Services and Enhances International Capabilities

Day Pitney LLP announced today that it will significantly expand its presence in Florida through a merger with Richman Greer P.A. All fifteen attorneys from Richman Greer will join Day Pitney upon completion of the merger, which is expected on January 1, 2019.

The combined firm will retain Richman Greer's existing offices in Miami and West Palm Beach as well as all personnel. Day Pitney, which currently has offices in Boca Raton and Delray Beach, will increase its lawyer headcount in Florida from seven to 22 attorneys. The attorneys joining Day Pitney have extensive experience handling high-profile and complex commercial litigation, which will be of immediate value to the firm's clients. The merger will provide Richman Greer and its clients with a complete range of legal services through Day Pitney's well-established Corporate and Trusts and Estates groups as well as expanded geographic reach up the East Coast across 11 additional offices all the way to Boston.

The following Richman Greer attorneys will join Day Pitney as partners:
Gary S. Betensky focuses his civil trial practice on complex business disputes and dispute resolution. He is distinguished as a specialist and expert through his board certification by The Florida Bar in business litigation law, which recognizes special knowledge, skills and proficiency in business litigation law, professionalism and ethics.
Manuel A. Garcia-Linares concentrates his practice in the areas of complex commercial and business litigation, officer and director liability, real estate litigation, probate and trust litigation, professional malpractice (legal and accounting), and class action litigation. He also handles corporate, transactional and estate planning matters.
Michael J. Napoleone focuses his practice on the representation of businesses and individuals in significant contract disputes. His experience litigating corporate breakups provides a unique perspective on the drafting of corporate formation documents, including shareholder and operating agreements. He also maintains a practice in complex estate and trust litigation and appellate work.
Mark A. Romance is a trial and appellate attorney who focuses his practice on commercial litigation and other complex litigation, including non-compete, trade secret, intellectual property, real estate, mortgage foreclosure, product defect and estate and trust litigation.
