On October 3, Day Pitney LLP and the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), Northeast Chapter – Women's Initiative co-presented a program, "The Power of Women with Wealth," held at Day Pitney's Boston office. Nearly 40 attendees, including general counsel from Greater Boston, participated in a conversation about how women are accumulating wealth and, in turn, investing in themselves, each other, their communities and their families.

The discussion was led by panelists Beth Milkovits, Vice President at Brown Brothers Harriman and Ambassador for the BBH Center for Women & Wealth; Nicole Peterkin, CEO of Peterkin Financial, Treasurer of the Boston Women's Fund and Author of If You Love Your Family, Save Like It; and Barbara Freedman Wand, Esq., Estate and Charitable Planning Attorney at Day Pitney LLP, with Glynis Ritchie, Esq., Estate Planning Attorney at Day Pitney, acting as moderator. Topics included investing in today's financial markets, smart philanthropy and estate planning tips for successful women. After the program, attendees enjoyed a networking reception where the discussion continued.
