On April 9, the Human Rights Campaign Foundation recognized Day Pitney as a “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality” in 2018 at an event held in New York City. Partner Ben Haglund accepted the award on behalf of the firm. To earn this recognition, Day Pitney was rated on its LGBTQ workplace, inclusion and benefits policies and scored 100% on the Corporate Equality Index, a rating earned by only a select group of US companies, including those with international operations, and law firms. The companies and firms earning a perfect 100% CEI score have acted to insure that their workplaces are fully LGBTQ inclusive and non-discriminatory.
