Christopher Stracco Re-elected Chairman of IOLTA Fund
On January 24, Christopher Stracco was re-elected Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the IOLTA Fund of the Bar of New Jersey. Chris was appointed to the Board of Trustees by the Supreme Court of New Jersey effective March 1, 2014, and his term expires on February 28, 2019. The IOLTA Fund awards grants providing funding for free legal services to low income people with civil legal problems, improvement in the administration of justice and education about the law. The source of the IOLTA Fund's resources are interest on lawyers' trust fund accounts, and similar funds are present in almost every jurisdiction in the United States. The New Jersey State Bar Foundation receives a share of IOLTA's revenue to carry out its mission of promoting public understanding about the law.
