Law360 featured Darren Wallace in its December 9, Q&A Leadership series. Discussing his experience in estate planning, estate and trust administration, estate and gift taxation, and probate and trust litigation, Darren says that he anticipates some of the biggest regulatory challenges to happen next year. "It is reasonable to expect that the Internal Revenue Service will be flooded with gift tax returns this year, and that as a result of this demand on available resources delays in seeing matters through the standard audit process for estate and gift tax matters should be expected," he notes. These delays, he says, will most likely present practical challenges to estate planning attorneys over the next year or two.
On December 16, Johanna Goulding presented "Introduction to Trusts" at the virtual seminar Estate Planning: MCLE BasicsPlus!
