Day Pitney LLP is pleased to announce the appointment of Lane Watson to the Eastern Connecticut Innovation Corridor (ECIC) Hub Advisory Council. The Council advises the ECIC in its mission to foster startups, fuel innovation and promote growth in eastern Connecticut.
The ECIC is a public-private partnership between the University of Connecticut and the Horsebarn Hill Ventures, a soon-to-be launched partnership of serial entrepreneurs and private investors investing in early-stage companies. The ECIC offers a range of services supporting the growth of high-potential startups in the eastern part of Connecticut. The organization is headquartered at UConn's Storrs campus and is temporarily housed in the Gordon W. Tasker Building.
A member of Day Pitney's Emerging Companies and Venture Finance Group, Watson regularly counsels startup companies in the high technology sector on general corporate and business issues.
