Dan Schwartz Quoted in <i>Connecticut Law Tribune</i> on New Gender Identity Law

Recent changes to Connecticut's anti-discrimination law, which now bans discrimination based on gender identity or expression, were the subject of a Connecticut Law Tribune article in which Dan Schwartz was quoted. Dan pointed out that ignorance of the new law risks punishment that could include payment of back pay, lost compensation and emotional distress damages. He also noted that employers must include notice of the law in required equal employment opportunity postings.
