Rodriguez explained, "The goal is that they genuinely can't be influenced by their own investments because they don't know what they are," noting that blind trusts place investment decisions in the hands of an independent trustee, while revocable trusts allow individuals to retain control over, amend, revoke, and move assets in and out of the trust during their lifetime.
