Overview
Max Clayton represents businesses and corporations in complex commercial litigation matters. He defends clients in tort and product liability disputes.
After law school, Max served as a law clerk to the Honorable Andrew J. McDonald, Senior Associate Justice of the Connecticut Supreme Court. He also was an Adjunct Professor at the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he co-taught Federal Indian Law.
During law school, Max was a Teaching Fellow at Yale University. He has also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Thomas O. Farrish of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut, a law clerk at the Department of Justice's Environment and Natural Resources Division, and was a Summer Associate at Day Pitney in 2023.
