Day Pitney LLP was named 'Law Firm of the Year' by Family Wealth Report at its 2017 Awards Ceremony at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York City.
In presenting the award to Day Pitney, it was noted that the "judges were impressed by the breadth and diversity of this firm's thought leadership. Their rapid expansion shows real commitment to the sector."

Day Pitney ACTEC NewsDay Pitney partner Keith Bradoc Gallant was recently elected to the Board of Regents and Executive Committee of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). Day Pitney partners David L. Silvian and Darren M. Wallace were recently elected as ACTEC Fellows. ACTEC is a national professional organization of approximately 2,600 lawyers who have been elected to membership by demonstrating the highest level of integrity, commitment to the profession, competence and experience as trust and estate counselors. To qualify for membership, a lawyer must have no less than 10 years’ experience in the active practice of probate and trust law or estate planning. Lawyers and law professors are elected to be Fellows based on their outstanding reputation, exceptional skill, and substantial contributions to the field by lecturing, writing, teaching and participating in bar activities. It is their aim to improve and reform probate, trust and tax laws, procedures, and professional responsibility. Day Pitney now has 16 attorneys who are ACTEC Fellows.
