The article explores how the implementation of 2013 revisions to Connecticut General Statutes Section 22a-6u may be further delayed until July 1, 2016. These revisions will lower the thresholds for environmental conditions defined as significant environmental hazards (SEHs), requiring that the owner of a property where there is a SEH notify the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) when the SEH is discovered.
