Elizabeth Barton and Harold Blinderman Explain EPA's Cooling Water Rule in Law360

Law360 published an article co-authored by Day Pitney partners Elizabeth Barton and Harold Blinderman titled, "A Long Time Coming: EPA Cooling Water Rule Settles," in its May 28 newsletter. The authors discuss how after nearly 20 years of effort to adopt rules under Section 316(b) of the Clean Water Act, which govern the use of cooling water intake structures at power plants and other facilities, the EPA's final regulations establish cooling water intake requirements at existing facilities.
