On September 11, Beth Barton will serve as the moderator at "Tapping into the Power of Offshore Wind - A Conversation with the Women Making it Happen," a joint meeting of the Connecticut Power and Energy Society (CPES) and New England Women in Energy and the Environment (NEWIEE). She will be joined by panelists including Lauren Savidge of Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, Mandy Tornabene of Dominion Energy, Elisabeth-Anne Treseder of Orsted North America, and Tanya Bodell of Energyzt. The discussion will focus on how the power of wind is being tapped into and configured into electricity. The meeting will be held at the G. Fox Building, in downtown Hartford.
