How will Carnegie Mellon change Wynwood? Housing and transit at a crossroads

Carnegie Mellon University's planned Miami campus could bring a new wave of development to Wynwood.
 
Day Pitney Miami Land Use Partner Steven Wernick brings a long view of the neighborhood, having been involved in its major zoning overhaul more than a decade ago. He told the Miami Herald he expects the campus to spur a significant increase in projects proposed and built in the neighborhood in the coming years.
 
"It's going to have a major impact and jump-start what's already been happening in Wynwood," Wernick said.
