"Mobility Issues," Forum for International Wealth Advisors – 2nd Generation

On May 12, Day Pitney International Trusts and Estates Partner Carl Merino co-led the discussion panel "Mobility Issues," at the Forum for International Wealth Advisors – 2nd Generation in Rome about practical issues that clients face when moving to new jurisdictions. The discussion covered a range of topics, including tax and visa issues, the impact of a change in residency on existing structures, succession laws and marital property regimes, and other issues. Merino is also a member of the Steering Committee of the Forum, an annual gathering of wealth advisors from around the world.
