Day Pitney Real Estate, Land Use and Environmental attorneys will be speaking at The 72nd Annual Atlantic Builders Convention Conference & Expo (ABC) hosted by the New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA) at the Harrah's Resort in Atlantic City on March 28-30. The ABC is the largest regional building industry tradeshow in the Northeast.

On March 29, Real Estate and Land Use Partner Nicole Magdziak will be a speaker on the "Legal Trends in Land Use Law" panel discussing legislation, regulations and court decisions relating to the land development review process and continue to modify the legal framework within which real estate is developed.

On March 30, Real Estate Partner Craig Gianetti will be a speaker on the "Affordable Housing Update" discussing how the courts continue their lead role in enforcing the constitutional requirement that municipalities must create realistic opportunities for the construction of low- and moderate-income housing. Environmental and Land Use co-chair Todd Terhune is a speaker on the "Site Remediation" panel discussing the implementation of regulatory requirements under the Site Remediation Reform Act and will review other emerging requirements in the world of brownfield redevelopment. Real Estate Senior Associate Luke Pontier will be a speaker on the "Mixed-Use Development/Redevelopment" panel discussing how redevelopment will comprise the majority of new development in NJ for the foreseeable future as suburban and urban communities compete to reinvent themselves.
