Day Pitney is a sponsor of the 27th Annual St. Valentine's Day Black Tie Ball for Lea's Foundation for Leukemia Research. The event will be held on February 11 at the Riverview in Simsbury, CT, and will honor Bill Moss include mingling alongside four world-renowned boxers, "Irish" Micky Ward, Vinny Paz "The Pazmanian Devil," Marlon Starling "Magic Man," and "Iceman" John Scully.

In 1998, Lea's Foundation for Leukemia Research, Inc. was established to fund research into the causes and/or cures for leukemia and its related cancers of lymphoma, Hodgkin's lymphoma and multiple myeloma.
