The Art of Planning for the Collector: A Guide to Estate Planning Considerations for Art Collectors

On May 5, Von Sanborn and Darren Wallace will be speaking on a panel, “The Art of Planning for the Collector: A Guide to Estate Planning Considerations for Art Collectors,” at the 2018 New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) Trusts and Estates Law Section Spring Meeting in Sea Island, GA. Sanborn and Wallace will discuss certain planning considerations for collectors of art, including valuations and gifts of art to trusts as well as related factors about retained use and liquidity concerns, among other topics.
