Tax and Non-Tax Factors in Selection of Trustees and Trust Distribution Standards

On November 1, Peter Shapland spoke on a panel, entitled "Tax and Non-Tax Factors in Selection of Trustees and Trust Distribution Standards" at the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Seventh Annual Probate Law Conference held in Framingham, MA. The conference provided timely updates about probate practices, procedures and forms, new regulations, and impactful court decisions. The keynote address was given by Probate and Family Court Chief Justice John D. Casey, and panelists included probate and estate planning attorneys as well as judges.
